Old skool and New skool in perfect harmony. During lockdown, during having Covid or just when it’s feet up time music has been a massive part of my last few years - todays it’s the @mobilefidelityofficial #Mofi Pressing of @alanparsonsmusic ‘s amazing #EyeInTheSky 🤘🤘
Last couple of years have meant missing massive days and trips to the mountains - missing them so 2022 winter and 2023 will be back ! With @fb_outdoors @davywa others I’m sure - cold early mornings , gear in the pack, sunrise on snow , walking , route finding, dealing with fear, dealing with altitude , pushing ourselves and the rewards that come every single time - soon!!
Last and certainly not least - and actually our first point on the #newengland Roadtrip is #Boston .
Absolutely fascinating to wander round the 17th century pilgrim village and Native American site learning about the culture and living styles - the girl telling us about language , culture , living habits etc was fascinating ! So sad to have lost so much of that peoples culture to westerners . A real tragedy . 😥 but hearing it brought o life was wonderful .
Iconic stop on the #NewEngland road trip - Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II ( reproduction of course) - bringing the pilgrims in 1620 … and the rest is history as they say
